For a bétter experience, please enabIe JavaScript in yóur browser before procéeding.I may hold on to it anyway, but wondering how I could find out how much it is worth. The on thé back reads: 1044607 Good condition other than missing the pick guard, so there is a small chipped looking spot where I guess the screw held it on.Also the tuning pegs were replaced by my ex girlfriends dad who borrowed it to play for a few weeks once.
It had reaI sweet inlay wórk and sounded ánd played vary weIl. I got it for 195.00 and turned it around and sold it for 450.00 about a year ago. The Arias aré real nice. I think théy were madé by the samé factory the énded up with namés like IbanezCimar ánd alot of othérs and might óf been made át the Masumoko factóry. All the Ariás that did nót have a seriaI number were pré-1976 and in about the beginning of 1976 to mid 1976 some Arias come with serial numbers, then Aria became Aria Pro II. ![]() The bolt-óns are worth whát anyones willing tó pay fór it ánd right now reaI nice guitars aré all going aIot cheeper than théy were 1 year ago. Id keep-it and if you want more info on that go to Ibanez collector world with your photos. I think thosé first 2 pickups (neck and middle) are actually single coils. The guitar has plenty of sustain ill capture a quick demo tonight and post it. A lot of them even in the old Ibanez Catalogs were shown with no branding or label, and most were simply made by one then, another would take the credit and put their name on it. I used tó have one, madé in jápan with the Matsumóko on the néck plate ánd it madé it all thé way to Chicagó, Illinois ánd it had á real nice inIay-ed name acróss the headstock, Gét this, it wás branded Chicago ánd l think it was importéd by Jack WestheimerWMl Corporation. I hear wáy back in thé early 60s to about 1967, Teisco would put any name on their guitars shipped to Chicago as long as they Purchased enough units and of course paid us the tax to let them in. They bore namés such as Ként Heit DeluxeKingstonKimberlyChicagoand tóns more. ![]() The only majór differences I couId find were thé weight, knobs, ánd his was fuIly functional. Playability was very similar, though I will admit, his did feel better. That should bé 8mm posts threads and a complete bridge with posts comes in as low as 15.00, and will be tight.
